Group Hamas claimed to have attacked a group Israeli army in central Gaza. The attack by Hamas and other armed fighters killed Israeli soldiers.
“We captured a Zionist force consisting of 15 soldiers with the al-Quds Brigade in a tight ambush and clashed with them,” the group wrote on their Telegram channel. Al JazeeraWednesday (12/12/2023).
“We killed and injured members of the force, after which the Qassam artillery and al-Quds Brigade destroyed the area with high-caliber mortars,” he added.

For information, the Al-Quds Brigade is the armed wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad group.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health stated that the number of people killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7 had increased to 18,608 people. Another 50,594 people were injured.
A total of 196 dead and 499 injured arrived at hospitals over the past 25 hours, while a large number of victims remained under the rubble of destroyed buildings, according to the ministry.
