Hamas celebrates truce in Lebanon –

The Islamist movement Hamas celebrated this Wednesday the ceasefire in Lebanon like a defeat Israel and thanked the “Islamic resistance” for its “solidarity” with the Palestinian people, while underscoring its commitment to achieving a similar pact in the Gaza Strip.

In a statement, Hamas points out as conditions for this pact “a total cessation of hostilities, the withdrawal of occupation forces, the return of the displaced and the conclusion of a real and complete agreement on the exchange of prisoners.” EFE (I)
