Hamad Medical Corporation, through its mental health services, is organizing a (remotely) symposium entitled “Mother’s Mental Health is Important”, as part of the celebration of the International Maternal Mental Health Day, which the world celebrates on the first Wednesday of May each year.
The online symposium will be held in both Arabic and English through the (Microsoft Teams) platform the day after tomorrow, Wednesday, for free, in which a number of specialists from the Department of Mental Health Services at Hamad Medical Corporation will present information on some useful strategies to maintain the health and psychological well-being of mothers and fathers, who may face Sometimes challenges and problems affect their moral and psychological state, whether before or after the birth of their children.

The symposium is held under the slogan of the National Mental Health and Wellness Program “With You”, which aims to remove the social stigma associated with mental health issues and facilitate access to specialized mental health services in Qatar.
