Musk on Twitter: – We are opening our chargers for other electric cars already this year
The company points to the corona pandemic as a reason for the fall in revenue.
– In 2020, our factory was closed for a period in the spring as a result of the pandemic. This had consequences for the delivery situation in Norway, says communications officer Nora Wisløff Egenæs in Tesla Norway.
2019 was a good year for Tesla in Norway, especially because the Tesla Model 3 was launched. It was sold in 15,683 copies in 2019, but until the end of September last year, only 3,197 copies had been sold.
So far in 2021, Tesla Model 3 leads the electric car registration statistics in this country, with 6277 copies as of July 24. There are also high expectations for Model Y, which has been pre-ordered in large numbers from Norwegian Tesla customers. The first specimens are expected to land in August.
