The launch of Halo: Infinite was anything but the success story Microsoft had hoped for. The initial hype of the multiplayer launch quickly gave way to criticism and the single player caused little stir.
One of the reasons for this was that, bizarrely, you couldn’t play the game with friends. Not even online! And that while co-op has always been an important part of the series. That’s why we’re happy to announce that online 4 player co-op will be released later this month! There are, however, some caveats.
First of all, this co-op will be available for just ten days, July 11-20, as an open beta for the full rollout at a later date. In addition, to participate, you must not only own the game or have an active Game Pass subscription, but also be a member of the Halo Insider program. For that you can here sign up.
