A second technical preview of Halo Infinite is currently in the works, with different playable times and dates for Halo Infinite over the weekend for players previously invited to experience PvP in the Arena against both other players and Halo Infinite Bots. The upcoming weekend trip, which is scheduled from September 30 to October 4, is all about Big Team Battle. According to 343 Industries, more users will be able to connect by the end of next week, although there is still a limit.
Brian Jarrard, Community Manager at 343 Industries, shared via reddit Next weekend, Steam and Xbox players will have the chance to participate without going through the Halo Insider process. Jarrard noted that the extent to which this will expand is not yet certain and that this is not an open beta, a limited number of players will still be allowed in.

So if you can’t participate in the Halo Insider program, you still have a chance to try playing starting September 30th. We will share more information as it becomes available. Meanwhile, we’re also updating the list of maps, vehicles, and weapons we know so far in Halo Infinite.
Halo Infinite is currently scheduled to release on December 8, 2021 on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming. The multiplayer game is free to play and the campaign will be included in Xbox Game Pass.
