Halo 2 remaster will be available for PC from May 12 – Gaming – News

Microsoft releases the remaster of Halo 2 on May 12. It is a polished version of the second game from the Halo series, which was released on the Xbox in 2004. The remaster is part of the Master Chief collection and can only be played on the PC.

The new title is officially called Halo 2: Anniversary. Compared to the original, not only the graphics, but also the music and sound effects have been improved. As with the Halo: Combat Evolved remaster released in March, the new title also allows you to switch between the classic graphics and the improved version.

The Halo 2 remaster is part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. That collection includes all Halo games up to and including the fourth part. The games are released in chronological order. Last December, the upgraded version of Halo: Reach was released for PC and Xbox One, and the Halo: Combat Evolved remaster has been available to PC players since March. Later this year, the other remasters of Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo 4 are yet to follow.

Like the other titles from the Master Chief collection, Halo 2: Anniversary is only available for the PC. The collection is available at Steam and in the Microsoft Store. The remasters are also part of the Game Pass subscription for the PC.
