The full moon will appear for the first time in the Halloween night sky around the world since 1944

Halloween fans live an additional atmosphere of fun and fear because of the moon, which will appear in this year’s festivities, complete to light the sky on Saturday night, and inspire in the souls the fear associated with the myths of the emergence of werewolves.

But the traditional Halloween celebrations will be completely different this year due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus.

However, there will be a positive aspect, as mutated werewolves will be able to appear and come out to howl, as according to prevailing myths, some believe that there are humans who turn into wolves on the night of the full moon.

It will be the first time since 1974 that a full moon has appeared at Halloween celebrations across Ireland and Britain, according to the Astronomy of Ireland.

Since it is the second full moon to appear in the month of October, it is known as a “blue moon”, although it will not appear blue in the sky.

David Moore, of the Irish Authority, said: “The moon will appear in its perfect shape at 2:49 pm on Halloween, and as the sun sets, the moon will rise in the sky, appearing fully and brightly.”

He added, “It is possible that the completion of the Halloween moon will happen a few times per century and will not happen again in Ireland and Britain until 2039.”

The Authority expects that there will be a lot of excitement around this important heavenly event.

David explained that some associate Halloween with the appearance of ghosts and ghouls, “but this year there will also be werewolves due to a full moon.”

He noted that the celebrations would be good fun for the general public, “We hope that it excites everyone.”

“Anything that makes people aware of what’s going on in the sky is very helpful,” said Terry Mosley of the Irish Astronomical Society.

He added, “I suppose there is a certain relationship between the full moon and the witches and spirits that move on Halloween night that arouse people’s interest.”

“It’s just one of those things that happen very often.”
