The police have moved out to Jakobsli east of Trondheim after reports of several heavily intoxicated young people at a private Halloween party.
According to police, the participants at the party were of middle school age.
They received a message from the emergency room who was called to the scene.
– When they arrived, it was full chaos with a lot of heavily intoxicated youth and it was a bit confusing, so they wanted the police to the place, says operations manager Ole Petter Hollingen in Trøndelag police district to NRK.
There has also been fighting at the party. Most of the young people who were there had left when the police arrived at the scene.
– A boy has been beaten a little. He is 14 years old and that is probably in the age group the others are also in, says the operations manager.
– We are on site with a patrol and waiting for parents to come and pick up those who are left there, Hollingen says.
He says that there have been around 20-25 young people at the party.
Victims have been supervised by health personnel on site and should not be seriously injured.
– It is young and it is clear that it has been a kind of Halloween party here. People were dressed up, several in orange overalls, I see, so it probably indicates a form of Halloween gathering or party.
Encourages: – Pay attention
The operations manager has a clear encouragement to parents to follow along.
– At least I think that parents should be attentive and follow closely. They should have contact with their kids and must be prepared to pick them up. A lot of partying has been reported in private homes now and these are typical Halloween parties.
