Halloween Operations in Linz: Coordinated Efforts by Security Forces to Ensure Safety

Due to the events in 2022, a coordinated operation with forces from the Linz City Police Command and special forces from the LPD Upper Austria took place on October 31, 2023 on the occasion of the Halloween celebrations. From 3 p.m. onwards, the “hotspots” in Linz city center were targeted, the operation lasted until 2 a.m. – the result:
– 1 car burning, presumably after a firecracker was thrown – unfortunately the search was negative
– 1 trash can blown up by pyrotechnics on Leonfeldnerstrasse
– various administrative and traffic displays
– several identity checks and personal searches
