There was a spooky atmosphere on Halloween afternoon, October 31st, in the Salzburg Toy Museum, where many scary fans big and small stopped by in costume at the traditional Halloween party. Lots of sweets were eaten under the spider webs and spooky Halloween games were played.
SALZBURG. Shoes off, slippers on – and the Halloween party began in the Salzburg Toy Museum. Little ghosts, witches, demons, bats, pumpkins and other creative costumes populated the colorfully decorated rooms of the museum.
And everyone who didn’t arrive in costume was quickly transformed into eerie creatures of the night with theatrical make-up and fake blood.
“We have our traditional Halloween party every year. This “only” lasts two hours, but it’s plenty of time for the children to play, be amazed and have fun.”
Karin Rachbauer-Lehenauer, director of the Salzburg Toy Museum
With beaming eyes, horror fans big and small then immersed themselves in the world of games. The focus was on experiencing and trying things out. In addition to fun and games, you could take home everything spooky that was made on site and of course the sweets won from the games.
“It was very cool!”
