A number of events have already taken place last weekend in the canton of Vaud. For the coming weekend, without being exhaustive, we will remember the former Abattoirs of Payerne (VD), which host the Black Circus from October 31 to November 3 for four days of “haunted festivities” with a “trick or treat” evening. , the hallowed phrase of Halloween, which literally means: “trick or treat”.

La Maison d’Ailleurs in Yverdon-les-Bains (VD) offers themed evenings on October 31, November 1 and 3 with “creatures that lurk in the darkness”. Finally, Chaplin’s World in Corsier-sur-Vevey (VD) also put on Halloween colors, with activities which began on October 12 and will end on November 3.

Hallomania

In Geneva, a festival is actually organized under the name Hallomania, in other words a “festival of macabre entertainment”. The program offers 16 activities spread across different locations, notably in the Old Town.

In Valais, we will remember friendly and family events for October 31 in Nendaz, Vercorin or Saxon, which is organizing its 3rd Halloween night with a long route illuminated with squashes as menacing as they are smiling.

In Neuchâtel, an appointment is made on November 1 at the Maison de la Tourbière in Ponts-de-Martel to discuss “mysterious legends”.

In Fribourg, the Cailler house in Broc (FR), which is offering activities until November 6 to discover “Halloween around the world”, with chocolate treats for the most discerning children.

The biggest Halloween in Switzerland

Finally, Martigny (VS) prides itself on hosting the biggest Halloween in Switzerland at CERM, for two evenings, October 31 and November 2. Some 8,000 people, adults and uninhibited, are expected for two mega parties, from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.
