Hallo sends readers to Tollwood’s New Year’s Eve party

One of Munich’s biggest New Year’s Eve parties is held at the Tollwood – from the food in the Food Plaza to concerts and midnight waltzes, there’s something for everyone. Hello send readers to the party.

Hello 2022, hello 2023! There are at least 2023 places in Munich where you can adequately celebrate New Year’s Eve. But one thing is clear: The Tollwood Winter Festival on Theresienwiese is a particularly pleasant place to start the new year. There, the big New Year’s Eve party kicks off at 7pm where DJs kick off the night while you can feast wonderfully in the Food Plaza. After that, the best concerts continue: the ‘Express Brass Band’ kicks off with jazz, soul and afrobeat, at 10pm reggae meets dub at ‘Jamaram meets Jahcoustix’. A highlight follows at midnight: The midnight waltz can be heard in all tents and in the outdoor area at the foot of the Bavaria. Party goers can continue dancing 20 minutes later when Django 3000 shows the new year with Bavarian gypsy sound where to go. What a firework of emotions, this party: you can safely leave your firecrackers and rockets at home.
