The 24-year-old half-sister of former top model Kate Moss revealed in an interview how she was treated during the early years of her modeling career and spoke out against drug use in the industry. “It is not normal to use drugs. It shouldn’t be as normal as it is in the fashion industry.”

She is the 24 years younger half sister of American supermodel Kate Moss. The pressure on her shoulders was enormous. Lottie Moss entered the modeling world at a young age. But she did not have many positive experiences. She recently spoke out against the heavy drug use in the sector.

“I think I thought it was normal. I went to those events and parties and I was exhausted. A lot of times I came on set and didn’t want to do it, I cried my eyes out and they said: We’ll just give you some drugs, you can have a drink and you’ll be fine”, she says. “It was very bad. Oh you will be doing this shoot whether you are sober or not. It is going to happen.”

“I was at an event in Rome and I cried my eyes out in the hotel and I was putting makeup on my tears, it was bad. They said: You only have to be down for an hour”, it sounds. “I don’t think there were many people in that industry who cared about my well-being, I have to be honest.” She added: “It is not normal to use drugs. It shouldn’t be as normalized as it is in the celebrity or fashion industry.” As a result, Moss was already spending time in rehab.

Moss also talked about the fact that she had to lose a lot of weight only to be told that she was simply too small for modeling.
