Half of Belgians want to retire at age 61, according to poll | Inland

On behalf of NN, 1,500 Belgians were questioned about the retirement age. The same questions were also asked in 2013. And little has changed: 50 percent of the respondents think that we have worked enough at the age of 61, just as in 2013. Four-fifths of the respondents think that this certainly applies to those working up to the age of 65.

Even when someone has a job that he likes to do and can handle physically and mentally, on average they want to quit at 64 years of age. Today the legal retirement age is 65 years. From 2025 this will increase to 66 years and from 2030 to 67 years.
