Police East reports on Twitter about a drunk man in only his underpants who ran on the tracks and was almost hit by the train at Fredrikstad.
When the police got control of the man, he was trying to ride from the place on a pony. He is now on his way to arrest, he states the police.
– And then it’s up to Vy if he will be reported for being in the tracks. He is also being reported for disorderly conduct on our part, says task leader at the Eastern Police District Sara Solberg to VG.
Press officer Olav Nordli in Bane Nor says Aftenposten that the incident was very dramatic for the driver of the train. There was talk of Intercity trains on their way to Halden.
– It was close to going wrong. So close that the driver stopped the train and went out to see if it had gone well, says Nordli.
