Half-Life: Alyx is the end of the ?? narrative limbo ?? for the series

Premiere Half-Life Alyx it may not be the biggest in 2020, but it made a big difference to the two gaming communities. The first is the virtual reality technology advocates that have received znakomit¹, but most of all high-budget production. The second group is, of course, the lovers serii Half-Life, waiting for the news of the return of Gordon Freeman for several years. Alyx’s adventure may not have been a continuation, but it still awakened the imagination of fans, incl. for termination.

This is what Robert Walker, chief game designer, spoke to with The Gamer. According to the creator, Valve wanted an ending Half-Life: Alyx had ?? what ?? importance?? in the context of the series and pulled the fans of the brand out of the narrative limbo:

We realized it [zakoñczenie Half-Life Alyx – przyp. autora] must have what ?? importance. [Ta] history couldn’t be something ?? which we just ignore and move on to creating another project. We also knew that fans Half-Life??a they were stuck in a kind of narrative limbo for a long time and we wanted to change that.

Walker also mentioned his willingness to be excited about the possibility again ?? and leaving the players ?? false leads ?? in the context of an intriguing ending Half-Life Alyx. It’s still too little to start chanting the age-old cry of the fans: ??Half-Life 3 confirmed!??. Nevertheless, the statement ?? Walkera lets you believe that Valve at least thinks about the future of the series, and that is much more than could be said in the last ten or so years. Of course, intentions do not necessarily translate into actions, and these may well be nothing. Pretty take a look at disclosed in July, a list of titles that Valve itself has been working on that have not been released or even had a title.
