Halal Certification: After the decision of Yogi government to ban Halal products, demand has now been raised in this state, know what allegation was made?

Mumbai. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Nitish Rane has demanded a ban on Halal certification of food items in Maharashtra on the lines of the decision taken by his party’s government in Uttar Pradesh. The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh had banned the production, storage, distribution and sale of Halal certified food products with immediate effect on November 18, while exempting products manufactured for export.

Speaking to reporters at the Vidhan Bhawan complex in Nagpur on Wednesday, Rane claimed that the money received from this process was being used to finance terrorism. He alleged that Halal, Jihad and Love Jihad are the main concerns. The money collected in the name of Halal certificate is being used to finance terrorism. It is used against Hindu religion. We have all the evidence related to this.

He said that Maharashtra should ban Halal certification in the same way as the Uttar Pradesh government has imposed. There are two companies that provide such certification. He is also from Maharashtra. Kankavli MLA Rane said that he will write a letter to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in this regard.

What was the order of UP government?
According to this order, the manufacturing, storage, distribution and sale of food products with Halal certificate is banned with immediate effect. It has been said in the order that if anyone in Uttar Pradesh is found manufacturing, storing, distributing and buying and selling medicines and cosmetics with Halal certificate, then legal action will be taken against him.
