“I heard a noise and when I went to look, I saw Ziyech running away,” a local resident told De Telegraaf newspaper. “I know two, maybe even three witnesses who told the police that the driver and his passenger quickly swapped places,” he adds. “The driver of this car, a young man in a gray tracksuit, immediately fled,” said another.
“It’s such a shame that his name is in the news because of this accident,” laments Peter, a former Ajax steward who knows everyone in the neighborhood. “There are often speeding tickets here, with cars, scooters, etc. I have witnessed several accidents, but this one was the worst,” he said.
