Cristiano Ronaldo scored a spectacular free kick goal when Al Nasser won 2-1 over Abha in the Saudi Pro League follow-up match at the King Saud University Stadium, Riyadh, Sunday (19/3) early morning WIB.
Ronaldo scores a long-range free kick. CR7’s goal, Ronaldo’s nickname, then helped Al Nassr get up to win the match.
Al Nassr actually left earlier in this match even though playing at home. Abha was able to surprise with a goal that was created in the 26th minute.
The goal was scored by their striker Adam Mohammed which left Ronaldo and friends stunned.
Al Nassr, who was motivated to equalize, never scored a goal. The resulting series of opportunities did not produce results.
The goal that Al Nassr had been waiting for only came in the 78th minute. Rudi Garcia’s side drew level thanks to Ronaldo’s spectacular free-kick goal.
Ronaldo fired a hard free kick towards the right side of the goal without being able to be dammed by the opponent’s goalkeeper.
Two minutes after Ronaldo’s goal, Abha had to play with 10 men after Zakaria Al Sudani was sent off by the referee. The advantage of this number of players can be put to good use by Al Nassr.
Al Nassr was awarded a penalty in the 86th minute. Talisca, who advanced as executor, did a good job of changing the score to 2-1 while securing victory for Al Nassr.
