“You Can’t Stop the Beat!” From March 2024, production house Deep Bridge will bring a new hit musical to Flanders: ‘Hairspray’. A musical that does not shy away from current themes such as racism and ‘body shaming’.
It was already known that ‘#LikeMe’ stars Lotte De Clerck and Francisco Schuster, singer Jérémie Vrielynck, musical stars Helle Vanderheyden and Laurenz Hoorelbeke and Amy Courtens, finalist in ‘K2 seeks K3’, will play in the musical. But the production house Deep Bridge has just added a new name to the list: singer and musical star Sandrine Van Handenhoven. She joins the star cast and will take on the role of Motormouth Maybelle.
