Hairdressers are preparing for mass protest: ‘If necessary, cut your dog’ | Inland

Hairdressers will hold massive demonstrations throughout the Netherlands on Thursday, because they believe that they are not or insufficiently compensated by the government as a result of the Covid measures. The initiator of the demonstration, which is supported by all 33,000 registered hair salons in the Netherlands, is Robèrt Jezewski from the Haarlemmermeer village of Abbenes. “We are working on it day and night,” Jezewski says from the polder village, where he has been running a supplier company for the hairdressing industry since 1987. “My company is also flat, because the hairdressers are closed, I can no longer supply anything.”
