Hairdresser helps: Free haircut for Ukrainians | Regional

Nuremberg – New hairstyle for new courage!

Celebrity hairdresser Marcel Schneider (52) was hit hard by the situation of the Ukrainian refugees, the 52-year-old really wanted to help. His idea: a free visit to the hairdresser for Ukrainians who come to Nuremberg.

“I often donate a lot of money, but this time I wanted to show people my solidarity, donate a piece of balm for the soul,” says Schneider.

Schneider drove to the train station, picked up Oxana (25) and Irina (50) personally and took them to his salon. The two fled Mariupol Friday night shortly after the bombs fell. Oxana’s father and husband were not allowed to leave the country.

Oxana really wanted to do something good for her mom, she was feeling particularly bad. They waited until the bombs hit two blocks, only then listened to the father, who sent the two women to Germany.

“I know that it’s not about beauty now, but if I can spend a nice hour or two with my action, I’m satisfied,” says Schneider. “The solidarity touched Oxana and Irina deeply.”

Schneider: “The next family is coming next week, a mother with her two children.”
