Jakarta – Hail rain accompanied by strong winds occurred in the Depok area, Bogor City and Bogor Regency. Several roofs of residents’ houses and public facilities collapsed in the wind.
From one of the videos received by tvonenews.com (21/9), one of those affected is Hermina Hospital which is located on jl. Siliwangi.
From the video, it can be seen that rain accompanied by strong winds caused the Hermina Hospital sign to collapse in the wind. Luckily at the place where the hospital sign collapsed, there were no people or vehicles parked under it.
Guswanto, Deputy for Meteorology, Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) confirmed that there had been rain accompanied by strong winds in the Depok area and Bogor City.
“Medium-heavy intensity rain accompanied by lightning/lightning strong winds and hail occurred on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 between 15.10 – 17.15 WIB,” wrote a message received by tvonenews.com, Tuesday (21/9).
