Hail hit parts of Bulgaria on Monday afternoon. Chunks of ice have fallen in Burgas and Smolyan.
The last two days of February will be mostly cloudy with rain showers. In the coming days we will welcome the meteorological spring. The weather will be often changeable, but without prolonged cold weather.
A yellow code for strong winds has been announced for today in 14 regions of the country, according to the map for dangerous phenomena on the website of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH).
Strong wind warnings will apply to the regions of Burgas, Varna, Dobrich, Silistra, Shumen, Yambol, Sliven, Targovishte, Razgrad, Ruse, Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Haskovo and Kardjali.
