The midwives of the Haguenau hospital center walked out on Tuesday, January 26 morning. About fifteen of them demonstrate in front of the maternity ward and distribute leaflets to visitors since 10 a.m. This mobilization supported by the CFDT follows the national appeal of the professional union of midwives. They are calling for a salary increase in line with their responsibilities, a medical status and staffing adapted to needs.
