The security guard of a Covid-19 screening center located in Hagondange was assaulted on Tuesday, December 28, at 5.30 p.m., closing time.
According to the first elements of the investigation, two individuals who wanted to pass in front of everyone in the queue had a dispute with the security guard and molested him. They then fled.
Slightly injured, the guard was transported to the Bel-Air Hospital in Thionville.
The victim and her employer announced their intention to file a complaint today.

“The Hagondange screening center will be closed today,” said Dr.r Frédéric Whebe, president of SELAS BIOGROUP Lorraine which manages the center. It should reopen Thursday morning.
“We ask that the municipal police carry out rounds around the screening centers,” he added.
