Hafia-Génération Foot: the qualification will be played in Dakar in the return match (reactions)

CONAKRY- The Hafia Football Club and Génération Foot, drew a goalless draw (0-0) in Conakry, this Sunday, on the occasion of the first leg of the first preliminary round of the Champions League of the Confederation of African Football ( CIF).

After the match, Casimir Jagiello, Sporting Director of Hafia FC said he was disappointed with the result at home but optimistic about the return match which will oppose his team to Generation Foot of Senegal, scheduled in a week in Dakar.. Bassouaré, coach of Génération Foot, is satisfied with the draw (0-0) of the first leg away from home.

Casimir Jagiello, Sporting Director of HafiaFC : « We are going to Dakar to play the final…»

The content of my team’s match was not bad. Only that we missed opportunities. And I have this regret. But it’s not bad because they are young people and they really wanted to win (…). We are going to Dakar to play the final there, and I know it will not be easy, but I am confident that we can win in Dakar…

Bassouaré, the Generation Foot coach: “ I am satisfied with the result…”

In the first half we had a lot of chances, but we couldn’t realize them. Then we have a young team. But when you come to Hafia FC, and you return with a draw, of course you are satisfied. The other match (the return), that will be in Dakar. We will see how we will approach it (…).

Note that the winner of the Hafia-Génération Foot match will be opposed in the second round to the Wydad Athletic Club of Casablanca in Morocco, the unfortunate finalist of the last edition.
