Haedar Nashir Re-elected President of Muhammadiyah, Secretary General Abdul Mu’ti

PP Muhammadiyah completed the Session of the 48th Congress in Solo, Central Java. Haedar Nashir was re-elected general president of PP Muhammadiyah for 2022-2027.

“It was handed over to the new leadership we mentioned earlier, Prof. Haedar and Prof. Abdul Mu’ti,” the committee for PP Muhammadiyah Conference A Dahlan Rais said in a broadcast on YouTube tvMU Channel, Sunday (11/20 /2022).

Meanwhile, PP secretary general Muhammadiyah is being held by Abdul Mu’ti.

The event then continued with the handover from PP Muhammadiyah’s leadership for 2017-2022 to leadership for 2022-2027.

The 48th Muhammadiyah Congress Conference was previously known to have approved the election of 13 formations of PP Muhammadiyah. Once done electronic voting and vote count, there were 13 reformers elected from PP Muhammadiyah.

In the live broadcast of the tvMu YouTube channel on Sunday (11/20/2022), the first position was occupied by Haedar Nashir with 2,203 votes, while the second position was held by Abdul Mu’ti with 2,159 votes.
