Hadewych Minis in tears at ‘Stars on the Canvas’

She thinks it is an enormous honor and also festive, to be able to get out again in this strange time. Three artists are allowed to portray her. That happens in theater De Kleine Komedie in Amsterdam. “A special place for me. Every time I try something new in my career, they welcome me here with open arms. ”

Fears

While modeling, there is time and space for an in-depth interview with presenter Özcan Akyol. In the presence of the artists, she talks about the bond with her family. When Akyol asks what it was like for her when her brother left home to study, tears flow freely. “I cry when I think about it and I don’t know why I get so emotional. I just missed him enormously. ”

She also speaks candidly about how she overcame her fears in life. “I’ve always been very insecure. Doubts whether I was good enough. I am still very, very impressed with everything. It was only this time of corona – and that may be very naive – that I found out that everyone is doing something. ”

Disclosure

Traditionally, the episode ends with the unveiling of the three portraits. This time this will take place in the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. Minis hopes for a slightly unrealistic portrait.
