Indeed, Ali Haddad broke the record for the greatest number of corruption cases linked to the agreements granted to his own public works company “ETRHB”, estimated at 124 project agreements. The latter also benefited from 452 bank loans with a financial value of more than 2.100 billion dinars, which were used to finance the construction of infrastructure, such as a highway, the entrance to the international airport, railway and tram projects, as well as other fraudulent projects.

The last file opened by the third chamber of the financial and economic pole concerned the former president of the FCE concerned with the award of the contract for the construction of a section of the east-west motorway.
