Well-known Italian chef Emanuele Ridi (49) has had to close one of his two luxury restaurants in Prague. As reported by Blesk, this is due to the two-year coronavirus pandemic and the resulting sharp increase in energy prices.
The Italian chef Emanuele Ridi owns two companies in Prague, namely MANU Risto & Lounge and Manu Prague. The pizzeria in the center of Prague still works and is full of customers, but the luxury one on the Vltava had to close its doors to customers.
“It started with a really cruel pandemic, we were closed and then when we opened there was war and energy price increases. 250,000 a month for electricity is not really possible, so I closed MANA near the Moldova. I have only one business left and it is doing great. The only problem is lack of staff, so we are closed on Mondays. People come, but there is no one to serve it”, Laugh revealed bluntly Rapid.
He is considering a second marriage
Now one activity is enough for him, because he has many other activities. Together with Czech television, he is filming another series of cooking shows with Matthew Ruppert (44).
