TANGERANGNEWS.com-Rahmi, 20, a young woman from South Tangerang City, has proven that this deadly virus that has plagued Indonesia for almost nine months is real.
Rahmi tested positive for COVID-19, although previously he did not believe that this virus existed and was contagious.
“I didn’t believe the COVID-19 disease. Yesterday I was just fine, but how come I’m positive. So after that I realized that COVID-19 exists,” said Rahmi at the Covid-19 Fighting House in Tangsel, Thursday (26/11 / 2020).
He only found out that he was infected when he underwent a swab test. Without prior knowledge, it turned out that he had met or had direct contact with a colleague who was also positive for COVID-19.
“When I ate with a friend, he had a fever first, but I didn’t immediately think it was COVID-19, but a common fever. Finally last night I had a fever, and immediately swab,” said Rahmi.
“Then everything was swabbed. When I was swabbed I was positive too. It didn’t take long to wait for only three days at home, finally I was immediately brought here, to this COVID-19 house,” he continued.
For his experience, Rahmi advised the public to take lessons from his story. He reminded the public to adhere to health protocols.
“It must be emphasized even more. Yesterday I was also rich in good health, because that is what is important now that we maintain our health, keep wearing masks,” he concluded.
