Hackers hit more than 30,000 companies and institutions in Microsoft, the attack has not yet been controlled

The perpetrators were considered to be a group of hackers from China who were identified as unusually aggressive

More than 30,000 companies, organizations and institutions in the United States have been the victims of a large-scale and ongoing hacker attack. The perpetrators were considered to be a group of hackers from China who were identified as unusually aggressive.

The news was announced by Microsoft. The company has introduced urgent updates for its Exchange Server email platform, which is used by many companies and organizations.

In the days following Microsoft’s announcement, however, hackers dramatically increased their attacks and began “hitting” servers around the world, Nova TV reported. They try to make the most of the time before administrators install the four updates, which fix the problem and protect against attacks. The vulnerabilities allow hackers to gain complete remote control of the affected machines. Therefore, Microsoft recommends that updates be installed in a timely manner.

The perpetrators are believed to be a hitherto unknown hacker group from China. The attack began with targeted targets in certain industries such as medicine and specifically communicable diseases, as well as defense companies and NGOs.

Hackers even keep a web interface with a username and password for easy access to compromised systems.

The first attacks were detected in early January this year. Their pace is gradually increasing, and the security services have been warned.

The White House also stepped in, expressing concern about the large number of victims, including small businesses, institutions, town halls and emergency services.

The warnings are that many of those affected may not realize they are affected and only a careful examination of their systems can show it.
