Poly Network urged cryptocurrency wallet owners to avoid buying stolen cryptocurrency Ethereum, BinanceChain and OxPolygon tokens.
“The amount of money you have hacked is the largest in the history of decentralized finance (defi),” the company said in a Twitter address to thieves.
“Your stolen money comes from tens of thousands of members of the cryptocommunication community.”
The Poly Network threatened to involve the police, but also offered hackers the opportunity to “develop a solution.”
“We regrettably announced that #PolyNetwork was attacked” and the assets were transferred to hacker-controlled accounts, the company said in several tweets.
Poly Network cited online addresses used by hackers and called on cryptocurrency diggers and cryptocurrencies not to accept cryptocurrency tokens from these addresses.
Twitter users have estimated that hackers are worth about $ 600 million.
In the first four months of this year, cryptocurrency theft, hacking and fraud totaled $ 432 million, according to an analysis by CipherTrace.
