A group of CODEX hackers bypassed the anti-piracy protection of remasters Mafia II and Mafia III – the games are already available on torrents. Both reprints were released on the evening of May 19.
From the day of release, all owners of the original versions can get free upgrades to improved ones. The Mafia II remaster includes a set of updated textures, as well as all previously released story DLCs. In Mafia III: Definitive Edition, only all released add-ons were included.
May 19, 2K Games also introduced a remake of Mafia I. The first show of the game will take place on June 6 at the PC Gaming Show 2020, and they plan to release it on August 28. Mafia I: Definitive Edition will be fully translated into Russian.
