During a cyber attack on the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry, classified information was leaked. This was announced on Thursday, August 12 Delphi with reference to the country’s President Gitanas Nauseda.
“There is reason to believe that during the attack on the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry, hackers could gain access to documents classified as classified,” the Lithuanian leader said.
“We will assess the damage caused by this cyberattack,” Nauseda said.
According to him, the leakage of this information can cause significant damage “primarily to the allies” of Lithuania. He said he could not reveal details.
The Minister of National Defense Arvydas Anushauskas suggested that the Russian special services were most likely behind the attack.
