There are many types of modern online threats. Once upon a time there was the main danger virusthat is, nothing more than programs written in such a way that they enter the device without the user’s knowledge and cause it some unwanted damage. They exploited various vulnerabilities in various programs and it is this type of code oversight that is the most common reason for cybercriminal attacks to date.
WithSecure (formerly known as F-Secure Business) has published a security advisory warning companies of a security vulnerability Microsoft Office 365 Message Encryption (OME). It is used by organizations to send internally and externally encrypted emails. Cybercriminals can use leaks to partially or completely determine the content of a message by analyzing the location and frequency of repeating patterns and then comparing them to patterns found in other emails and OME files.
