At the same time, the CD Projekt RED stated that it would not negotiate with hackers and reported everything to the relevant authorities. The hackers didn’t hesitate, and today at eleven o’clock our time, the source code auction began Cyberpunk 2077 a Sorcerers 3. Update: a mistake was made. They stated starting bid $1kk. This was assumed as a typo for $1,000. They meant $1,000,000. They are also selling immediately for $7,000,000.

Earlier, hackers posted on the Internet the source code of Gwent called CDProject Leak # 1. The CD RED project, meanwhile, has confirmed that a hacker attack has a short-term impact on the work of the studio. This means, among other things, slowing down the work on repairing the Cyberpunk 2077, especially the console versions, which are not in the best condition.
The whole world is waiting to see who will buy the source code. The owner will learn all the essentials about the game, procedures and technologies used, including the internal engine of the Polish studio called RED engine. Some would not be surprised if the source codes were bought by competitors.
