The fence continues to blare in the Champions League.

Against Paris FC, the Swedish team had several chances to decide – but “only” got a point after 0-0 at Bravida Arena.

– Many parts I can be proud of, says Häcken’s coach Mak Lind.

Paris FC have managed to knock out both Arsenal and Wolfsburg to reach the Champions League group stage.

But once there you got the bigger problem.

The French capital team has failed to defeat the team from Hisingen in two meetings.

The meeting at Bravida Arena ended 0–0.

Missed controversial penalty

It was instead Häcken that came closest to a decision.

In the 20th minute of the match, Paris defender Teninsoun Sissoko received a cross on the arm, and the referee pointed to the penalty spot.

Wild protests erupted from several players on the away team, who claimed the ball was over the short line before the cross was even struck.

It was a penalty after all, but Rosa Kafaji did not manage the situation.

– It was not my best penalty in my career. It felt like she had studied me a bit, says Kafaji after the penalty miss.

“Strange that it ends 0-0”

Instead, the deadlock stood the game out despite several situations in several directions, and the teams shared the points.

Something that the Häckenspelarna complained about.

– I think it is strange that this match ends 0-0. I can see that my players are disappointed with the result, but somehow it means that we are the better team. There are many parts I can be proud of, says Mak Lind.

Anger at the referee: “Very low level”

It was a physical match at the Bravida Arena, and in addition to several yellow cards being handed out. after the match, the Häckenspelarna were not completely satisfied with the referee’s decision.

– It was a very low level throughout the match. I think we were dealt cheap cards throughout the game. It’s a 50/50 duel with me where I get a yellow, and then I get a job in the thigh and it doesn’t even get an announcement. It sways quite a bit, but I think we’re getting a bit hit today, says Josefine Rybrink.

Filippa Curmark also thought that the judging level was a bit weak.

– Many unclear situations. It was a very uneven level of judging, I think, she says.

Giant thrills await

Häcken thus missed the chance to qualify for the quarter-finals even before the last round of the group stage.

– You are disappointed. We would have liked it settled today. We create a lot of modes, so that’s clear. You get a little disappointed anyway, says Anna Anvegård after the match.

Instead, a shocker awaits in the final round.

After Chelsea’s win against Real Madrid, they are ready for the quarter-finals, and the second place is between Paris FC and Häcken.

For Häcken, it is enough if Paris loses against Chelsea. Then it doesn’t matter how it goes in the last game against Real Madrid.

Should Paris win or take a point, Häcken also needs to either win or draw.
