It seems that the source code of the new Watch Dogs: Legion has been put online. This may have happened after a hack at game publisher Ubisoft.

A few weeks ago, ransomware group Egregor allegedly broke into French Ubisoft. The hackers threatened to disclose the ill-gotten source code of Watch Dogs: Legion. Now that the files have actually been put online – by whom it is not clear – it seems that Egregor has added deeds to his words (via Rock Paper Shotun).
Should it actually be the case that the game’s source code is online, developers could make changes to the game. This way mods can be added, but the game could also be copied and distributed illegally.
Hackgame
In Watch Dogs: Legion, you build your own hacker group and try to liberate London from the fascist regime. It was only a matter of time that the game itself now appears to be a victim of a hack. Ubisoft itself has not yet responded to the issue.
