MR Chairman Georges-Louis Bouchez’s hide seems to have been saved. The party bureau is convinced that a new crisis meeting, to which all MR parliamentarians have been invited late tonight, will only be about how the party should be led in the future. “Whatever they decide, the chairman will from now on have to take into account all the women and men of MR,” says Walloon minister Jean-Luc Crucke. “This is the end of it hyper-presidency.”
