An increase of 2.14% in loans and 12.57% in amount observed at the end of September

The Fogaloge guarantee continues its upward trend. An outstanding amount of MAD 17.40 billion in loans was allocated for the first nine months of the year, thus benefiting 60,972 households. In September alone, 669 loans were granted for an amount of 200 million dirhams. These indicators stand out in green. In this sense, we note an increase of 2.14% in terms of loans and 12.57% in terms of amount. As for Fogarim, 195,039 households benefited from it at the end of September. The cumulative outstanding since the launch of this guarantee amounts to 30.83 billion dirhams. The balance sheet drawn up in September shows 882 loans (-29.21%) for a value of 120 million dirhams (-39.17%). These figures revealed by the housing department in its sector watch demonstrate the recovery of the market, as evidenced by the increase in cement sales.

An increase of 12.42% was observed at the end of September, ie a consumption of 1.396 million tonnes against 1.241 million tonnes sold in September 2020. Regarding the main programs initiated by the supervisory authority, 1,507 agreements were referred to. in the context of social housing at 250,000 dirhams, thus bringing the total to 2,107,243 housing units at the end of September.
Most of these agreements (1,450) stem from the private sector, ie 2,037,166 units. The remaining 70,077 housing units are provided by the public sector, ie 57 agreements signed at the end of September 2021. It should be noted that the agreements referred to in the first nine months of the year are up compared to what was achieved in the same period of the previous year. Of this total, 559,789 housing units received the certificate of conformity from 2010 to September 2021, thus marking an increase of 57,296 units compared to the volume stopped at the same period of the previous year. As for the 100 social housing units in rural areas, the housing department lists 13 agreements referred to against 9 a year earlier. Thus, the volume reached at the end of September 2021 the 6,852 housing units against 1,985 at the end of September 2020. To date, 574 housing units have received the certificate of conformity. With regard to social rental housing, only one agreement has been signed since 2010 with a view to letting 50 housing units.

In addition, 82 agreements were signed under the housing program at 140,000 dirhams. They relate to the construction of 40,010 housing units, including 24,643 units entrusted to the private sector (52 agreements) and 15,367 housing units for the public sector (30 agreements). Referring to the supervision, 28,182 housing units received the certificate of conformity over the period from 2008 to September 2021. As for middle-class housing, 32 agreements have been covered since the launch of this device at the end of September 2021, thus covering 11,328 housing including 9,655 private sector housing (27 agreements) and 1,673 public sector housing (5 agreements).

Of this total, 253 dwellings have so far received the certificate of conformity. Remember that in terms of overall production, the supervisory authority reports an increase of 25.96% in the first half of the year. The volume produced in the first six months of the year comes to 109,317 units. Of this total, there are 39,455 restructuring units against 69,862 units of lots and housing covering in this sense 58,292 economic and social units. As for housing starts, they rose 9.33% compared to the first half of the previous year. They relate to 113,495 housing units including 64,467 restructuring units. The lots and housing started at the end of June were in the order of 49,028 units, including 40,562 economic and social units.
