Son-in-law Habib Rizieq Shihab, Habib Muhammad bin Husein Alatas, was introduced as the General Chair of the Islamic Brotherhood Front, which could be abbreviated as FPI. Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud Md also opened his voice regarding the emergence REITs only after the government banned the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI).
Mahfud initially talked about the FPI there were various kinds. He said he could REITs is an abbreviation of Islamic Women’s Forum or Front Pencak Silat Ilmuwan.
“There are various kinds of FPI. There is an Islamic Women’s Forum, there is an Intellectual Struggle Forum, there is an Idea Exchange Forum, there is a Pencak Silat Scientist Front. It’s the same as a big motorcycle lover association (moge) or an arisan association. Go ahead,” said Mahfud to detik.comSaturday (26/3/2022).
Mahfud said there was no problem with the existence of an association as long as it did not violate the law.
“The important thing is not to break the law, anyone can make associations,” he said.
He also said that the new FPI was allowed to operate. As long as, said Mahfud, the organization’s administrators do not register the new FPI with the same name and symbol as the organization that has been banned by the government.
“Yes, it’s okay, you don’t register with the Kumham with the same name and symbol. But if you use the names and symbols of organizations that have been banned, it’s against the law. I also often participate in the Knowledge Learning Forum,” he said.
Previously, Habib Muhammad bin Husein Alatas participated in the PA 212 demonstration in the Horse Statue area. Wasekjen PA 212 Novel Bamukmin then introduced Habib Muhammad bin Husein bin Alatas as the new chairman of the Islamic Brotherhood Front.
