Emirati artist Habib Ghuloum spoke about his Bahraini wife, Haifa Hussein, and her illness, confirming that it was a rumor.
Ghuloum said in a television interview: “My wife was not tired. This was a rumor that she spread. The day the doctor diagnosed her, her voice was starting to go away. She picked up the phone and took pictures of her shirts and goats that she was going to lose her voice.”
He added: “The two children had a cold, and she had a cold to the point that it affected her vocal cords. She went to the doctor, and we have private hospitals. If someone has nothing to say about him, rumors are spread, and the doctor is making a big deal out of the matter.”
She continued: “The doctor told her that if you don’t come to do voice sessions, your voice will not return to what it was in the past. She became afraid and the first thing she did was to take off the phone and tell her followers.”
It is noteworthy that Haifa Hussein participated in the series “The Trunks” in the Ramadan 2023 drama season, and its events take place within a social suspense framework. She shared the lead role with her husband, Habib Ghuloum, who appeared with her in more than one scene during the scenes.
