Curtain up, stage clear: For the tenth time, the future conference “VISION.A” welcomed pharmaceutical and pharmacy enthusiasts to the Wintergarten Varieté Berlin. Since 2016, outstanding projects and personalities in the healthcare sector have been honored there every year.
A company from Haan played a very special role in this year’s “VISION.A Awards”: For the first time, ARZ Haan AG was the exclusive partner of the event and provided one of the jurors for the awards ceremony, CEO Dr. Philipp Siebelt: “We are not only enthusiastic about the conference and award show itself, but above all about the many expressive submissions that we received in advance,” emphasised Siebelt: “They prove how creative, diverse and innovative the pharmacy industry is. Being able to recognise exactly that here on stage today was very fulfilling for us.”
The Haan-based entrepreneur presented the special award for corporate social responsibility. His own company is very successful nationwide: Through its specialized subsidiaries at various locations in Germany, service concepts for the healthcare sector are developed – from digital software solutions to IT-based billing services. Customer groups include pharmacies, nursing services, midwives, ambulance companies and dentists.
Many exciting projects and people applied for the “VISION.A Awards”, 25 of them made it through and won one of the coveted gold, silver or bronze trophies as well as media budgets totaling 50,000 euros.
The competition has now become a synonym for innovation and excellence in the pharmacy and healthcare industry, participants said. The expert jury of industry insiders awarded prizes to the submissions in a total of nine categories and selected 25 of them as the winners of 2024.
An obvious example of the many emotional moments was the awarding of the prize to Uta Mühle from the Schmetterling-Apotheke in Gotha. Her team had nominated her in the category “Best Entrepreneur in Times of Crisis” without her knowledge. The joy and surprise were written all over her face when her name was announced.
