We met Alejandro Blumenthal, co-owner of the start-up “H2YO”, in Silicon Valley a couple of weeks before Christmas on a typically warm and sunny California day. The company produces water dispensers in which natural fruit extracts without sugar, as well as vitamin supplements, can be added to the daily glass of water.
In society, more and more attention is paid to healthy lifestyle habits. One of them is to drink enough water to ensure the necessary amount of fluid in the body. “H2YO” comes to the rescue by offering its own solution.
“H2YO” devices are currently installed in 50 companies in Latvia and Estonia, and the first device in the Netherlands has just been installed. “Latvia has been like a test environment for us,” said Blumenthals.

It all started during Covid-19, when my friend Edgars and I discussed how to better provide our families and children with the vitamins they need, because they don’t want to take capsules and tablets.
