That GZSZ– dream couple Toni (Olivia Marei) and Eric (Patrick Henry) is not having an easy time. Because actress Olivia Marei is on maternity leave, the two GZSZ fan favorites are currently separated. While Toni is in New York on a job, Erik is currently struggling to reach the top in bricklaying.
GZSZ: Laura wants Erik as masonry manager
Laura (Chryssanthi Kavazi) recently even promoted to head chef. In order for Toni and Erik’s relationship not to be affected by their professional ambitions, the two have planned a vacation together for the holidays. But now Laura comes around the corner with a company audit just before Christmas and makes it clear to Erik that she can’t do without him at the moment.
But he doesn’t want to cancel the trip with Toni and stays put: he’s gone on vacation! Even when Laura offers him the CEO position at a hefty salary, he remains of her opinion. “Even if you pack a thousand more,” Erik points out. But even that Laura is willing to pay.

Laura is desperate to make work attractive to him, in which she has full responsibility and can take many liberties. “I will – when I get back from Mexico,” Erik explains. But the masonry boss disagrees with this compromise.
Toni and Erik’s reunion is cancelled
But Laura doesn’t give up so easily. She calls Toni behind Erik’s back to tell her about her offer. And she apparently explains to him that he should absolutely accept the agreement with Laura and give up the vacation. And that’s what Erik actually does, but he has a claim on his boss.
“My next vacation is non-negotiable. Luis has two weeks off and flies to Toni in Mexico in my place,” says Erik. Furthermore, the new CEO is asking for an additional budget for a brick-and-mortar Christmas party. And indeed, Laura gets into this business! So Toni and Erik’s reunion will have to wait a little longer…
