American actress Gwyneth Paltrow caused a great shock to her fans, after announcing her confirmation of her decision to refuse to return to acting, and revealing her desire to completely retire from the spotlight, in her latest media appearance.
Paltrow, who won an Oscar in 1998, moved away from the big screen after the movie “Avengers: Endgame” in 2019, and her attention is currently focused on her brand of health products, Goop.
She is happy with her life away from the spotlight
Gwyneth (51 years old) revealed that she prefers a routine lifestyle, and loves what she is currently doing, during her speech in front of a large crowd at the “Friends” Besties celebration, which was held in the Australian city of Sydney, the day before yesterday, Friday.
She said: “I really love what I do and I know that it is difficult to understand for those who are surprised by my decision to give up the life of fame.” She continued: “I love working from 9 to 5. I do not want to travel all the time and be away for months,” according to what was reported by the newspaper. Daily Mail British.
The Sliding Doors star revealed earlier this month that she was considering moving away from the spotlight completely, as she said in a press statement: “I will literally disappear from public life…no one will see me again,” and she said that she would then turn her attention to more… Of domestic issues, because she admits that achieving work-life balance is not always easy.
Motherhood changed my priority
She explained that during the peak of her acting career, she was doing three to five films every year, but she did not realize that she wanted to reduce her roles in Hollywood until after she gave birth to her first child, Apple, for the first time to be faced with an evaluation of her career, and she asked herself: Was I happy?
