“Gwendoline Christie Joins Civilization VII as Narrator: Release Date, Features, and More!”[embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qw6H7r8S_Wk[/embed]

Gwendoline Christie, best known for her roles as Brienne of Tarth in Game of Thrones and Captain Phasma in Star Wars, will be the narrator of Civilization VII.

Civilization developers say that in a video that you can see at the bottom of the article.

Christie is following in the footsteps of Sean Bean, another Game of Thrones veteran, who was a narrator in Civilization VI. Leonard Nimoy, known from Star Trek, was also a narrator before, in Civilization IV. So Christie’s participation in Civilization VII joins the ranks of famous voice actors who lend their voices to the game series.

Civilization VII launches 11. February 2025, to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The game gave up

On Wednesday, the developers at Firaxis also went deeper on the game with a 20-minute long presentation. You can see it at the top of the article.

The game introduces a new Ages system that divides the flow of the game into three distinct eras, each with its own playable civilizations, resources and game mechanics. By unlocking milestones within each era, players can carry over rewards into the next era. For the first time in the history of the series, you can choose your leader apart from civilization.

The multiplayer section will take advantage of the new Ages system by allowing players to choose between campaigns that span multiple eras or take on opponents in one turn. Additionally, the game will support cross-platform play between PC and consoles.
